Speaking of home, I thought I would share with you some of the recent custom orders I have completed and the gorgeous pics clients have sent me, after receiving their chairs. I think it’s always so fun to see where these chairs end up and how my eclectic designs look in their forever homes.

Let’s start with this fun custom order — it’s from my client Briana from Chula Vista, California. She contacted me a few months back, wanting a special armchair for her home office. Briana has luxurious taste and wanted the enchanting Winged Lynx velvet by Emma J. Shipley on her chair back. This print is absolutely stunning and is like no other that I design with. The velvet is exquisite and is imported from London. For the shopper who loves this design, I can assure you it’s worth the price! The fantastical print and dramatic colors are out of this world! Take a look for yourself!

Briana, loved her chair soo much she like many of my clients, ordered another chair. This time it was to compliment a gorgeous custom-painted vintage vanity she had just acquired for her bedroom. She wanted an antique chair to compliment it and I just happened to have the perfect frame in my inventory! It was a darling loui-style chair with beautiful roses carved into the top of the chair back and dainty curved cabriole legs. It was the perfect chair to pair with her vanity!

Once she selected her frame, I began sourcing fabrics for her. Briana knew she wanted pink leopard but just not sure what print. I design with leopard all the time and knew just where to find an amazing leopard print- Spoonflower ( They have an endless selection of leopard prints in a spectrum of colors and styles. My favorite designer to order from is borderlines_design from Marseille, France. They are simply the best and that is always what I wont for my clients — the best!

We decided to put the leopard print on the chair back and go with a classic solid black velvet seat. But to add some contrast, I used the pink leopard for the piping trim around the black seat and it beautifully tied the seat and chair back together. Here is the final outcome! What do you think?

Well thank you for taking the time to checkout my blog post! I check back in next month!

Have a fabulous day friends!
